Power Poker is played between you and the Dealer. You are dealt four hands of five cards each. When you receive your first hand, choose the cards to hold or discard. When you hold a card, the cards in the same position in the remaining three hands take the value of the card you held. These cards are displayed. The cards you discard are replaced with new ones from the deck.
The objective is to complete the game with the strongest hand. The payout is dependent on the value of the hand you are holding. If you win your hand, you can increase your winnings by participating in a doubling phase.
Note:
A complete deck of cards is used for each hand.
Playing Power Poker
To Juego ahora! a game of Power Poker, do the following:
1. Click the Increase (+) or Decrease (-) button to select the coin size you want to bet with.
2. Click the Coins button to select the number of coins you want to bet.
Note:
Your total bet amount is the number of coins chosen, multiplied by the coin size selected, and multiplied by the number of hands played. In Power Poker you Juego ahora! four hands at once, so your total bet amount is the number of coins chosen, multiplied by the coin size selected, multiplied by four. For example, if you are playing with a 0.50 credit coin, and bet five coins, your total bet amount is 0.50 x 5 x 4 = 10 credits.
3. Click the Deal button. A hand of five cards is dealt to you.
4. Select the cards you want to hold by clicking them. They are marked as Held . The cards above are displayed, and take on the same value as the cards held. To de-select a card, click it again.
5. Click the Draw button. The cards you did not hold are replaced with new cards from the deck and the cards above are displayed. These cards have random values.
Note:
A complete deck of cards is used for each hand.
6. If you have a winning combination, the win is highlighted on the Payout Table and a label is displayed next to the winning hand. You can either:
- Double
Click the Double button. This starts the doubling phase. See the Doubling section for more information.
- Collect
Click the Collect button. This ends your game and you are paid out the win amount as reflected in the Win box.
7. If you do not have a winning combination, the game is over and you can Juego ahora! a new hand.
Doubling
The objective of this phase is to draw a card of higher value than the Dealer's. If you draw a card of higher value, your win amount is doubled and you can choose to double again, or collect your winnings. You can continue doubling until you draw a card of lesser value than the Dealer's and lose the hand, or until you reach the Casino's doubling limit.
If you win a hand and want to double, do the following:
1. Click the Double button. Five new cards are dealt, and the Dealer's card is turned face up.
2. Select any one of the four remaining face down cards. All four cards are turned over to reveal their values and the card you selected is highlighted.
3. If your card is of a higher value than the Dealer's, you win double your original payout and can choose to either:
- Double
Click the Double button. Five new cards are dealt, and the Dealer's card is turned face up. Return to step 2.
- Collect
Click the Collect button. This ends your game and you are paid out the win amount as reflected in the Win box.
4. If your card is of equal value to the Dealer's, it is a tie. You do not win double your original payout, but can:
- Double
Click the Double button. Five new cards are dealt, and the Dealer's card is turned face up. Return to step 2.
- Collect
Click the Collect button. This ends your game and you are paid out the win amount as reflected in the Win box.
5. If your card is of a lesser value than the Dealer's, the game is over and you can Juego ahora! a new hand.
Note:
If you are disconnected from the Casino Server or Internet, or if you shut down the Casino software before selecting your card in the Doubling phase, the Casino randomly selects a card for you.
If you are a Real Account user, when you return to the game, your win amount is displayed in the Win box. If you won in the Doubling phase, the amount displayed is twice your original win amount. Your credit balance is updated and your original winning hand is displayed.
If you are a Guest Account user, your credit balance is updated, but your original hand is not displayed.
